-
1:10 people have a phobia so severe that it effects their daily functioning.
-
30% of the adult population are obese yet feel addicted to overeating.
-
275 million people suffer from anxiety.
What if a simple misunderstanding of the mind, and a habitual ‘bracing’ against feeling certain intense sensations and feelings in the body are driving all this suffering? And what if you could unlearn these innocent habits?
I can help you get free from all this unnecessary suffering, as I’ve helped many hundreds of others.
What makes this approach different?
Most approaches focus on changing thoughts or managing reactions. This work takes a different direction and is designed to give you a practical, experience-based understanding of how to work with your mind and body in a radically different way.
It does not try to fight or fix thinking. It helps you see what thinking is and how it functions. From that shift, change happens naturally.
You don't need more tools or techniques to change how you think or what you think, you need a fundamentally different relationship to your thoughts and feelings, and to the 'self' that believes thoughts and feelings are a problem to be solved.
Rather than adding more coping strategies on top of the problem, this program helps you see through the mechanism that creates it. Understanding the nature of the process itself is where lasting transformation and freedom occurs.
What clients say about this work..
"I felt broken, like a machine with faulty hardware that no-one seemed to know how to fix. Since working with Aly, I no longer view myself, or the world, through this inflexible and muddied lens." — Josie
"My anxiety has reduced by 80%. I fly on planes phobia free. I fear death less, so my hypochondria has almost disappeared." — Lauren
"After the first session, I felt confused, lost, amazed and excited all at once. I feel like my entire perspective of life has shifted — and is still shifting six months later." — Paradis
"I had been dealing with PTSD for over 20 years, talking to countless therapists. After a few sessions it was as if someone turned on a light in a dark room." — Tal
"I was very much trying to fix myself all the time, which is exhausting. She helped me see things in another perspective, where I can actually heal and see the fullness of life instead of trying to be different all the time." — Thea
"I no longer see myself as the victim of my life. I now see I am life itself." — Rich
"Lately I've just been walking around with the feeling of — there is actually nothing wrong with me." — Tatiana
"She isn't some sort of guru who tries to teach me how to be better. She's a flesh and blood human who reminds me how incredible I already am." — Katie Mae
"My burnout symptoms disappeared completely after just a few sessions, and my partner and friends noticed a shift in me." — Klara
In this program you will experience
How The Predictive
Brain Works
- How the sense of compulsion is created and how it can dissolve
- Why using 'techniques' can solidify compulsions
- Experiments that reveal the illusory nature of thoughts and sensations
- Why the human being gets 'payoffs' from suffering
- How to illuminate your brain's 'meaning making' habits and mental models
Freedom From The Self-Improvement Project
- Most approaches add more to do. This one removes the exhausting project of trying to be different or better. When you see how suffering is constructed - rather than inherent - the compulsion to fix yourself starts to dissolve on its own.
Nervous System Regulation
- Understanding how the body generates sensations of threat — and what it means to stop fighting them — tends to produce a physical settling that techniques alone rarely reach.
- I will teach research backed methods of calming the nervous system quickly but the work is really about changing your relationship to what it's doing.
Changes You Weren't Expecting
- People consistently report shifts in areas they weren't consciously working on — relationships, physical symptoms, patterns that had been present for decades. This isn't a side effect. It's what happens when the underlying mechanism changes rather than the surface behaviour.
Identity Shifting - "I'm Not Broken"
- The most consistent thing people say after this work is: I realised the problem wasn't what I thought it was. When you understand how the mind actually generates experience, the story of being fundamentally flawed or broken loses its grip — not through effort, but through seeing from a new perspective.
You Already Have What You're Looking For
- The courage, the clarity, the capacity for ease: this work tends to reveal that these were present all along, simply obscured rather than absent. This becomes experientially obvious and reveals your innate wellbeing.
How the programme works
Six weekly sessions on Zoom, each around 90 minutes. The group is kept deliberately intimate so that nobody gets lost in the background. Sessions are a mix of teaching, guided experimentation, live demos where I will work with individuals in the 'hot seat' and open conversation. There's no homework in the conventional sense, though you will find the material working on you between sessions in ways that are hard to predict in advance.
Sessions are recorded, so if you miss one or want to return to something, you can.
There is also the option to schedule private calls with me at a reduced rate to do a 'deep dive' into your specific challenges between calls, or after the program ends.
Who else will be in the group?
The people who tend to find their way to this work are those who've already exhausted conventional approaches — therapy, self-help, techniques — and have started to sense that something more fundamental needs to shift. They're thoughtful, usually self-aware to a fault, and genuinely tired of fighting with their own minds. If that sounds like you, you'll recognise each other immediately.
In six weeks together, the group itself becomes part of what makes it work.
What will you leave with?
Honestly, this is the hardest question to answer, and any programme that answers it with a checklist of promises is oversimplifying and probably misleading. What I can say is that people consistently report a shift in their relationship to their own thinking — less identified with it, less frightened of it, less compelled to fix it. Some people notice this quickly. For others it's more gradual, something that keeps settling after the programme ends.
What you won't leave with is another set of techniques to 'manage' anxiety. That's deliberate.
When do we begin?
Sessions begin in July 2026, on a weekday evening UK time. Exact scheduling confirmed with the group shortly after registration closes. You'll receive full details before any commitment is required.
